Swisscom Future of Work Pilot Project

In close collaboration with Swisscom Corporate Real Estate Management and Swisscom Brand & Strategy, MACH has developed an experience playbook for the future working landscape of the Swiss technology company. The playbook accompanies the transformation to hybrid working with strategic, functional and design guidelines and sets new standards for the diversity of workplace scenarios.

A central concept in the playbook is the zoning of the working environment into three areas: Connect, Collaborate and Concentrate. These three zones are designed to support the respective functional, acoustic and social needs of employees during their working day and to create a productive and inspiring working environment. In addition to ergonomics, acoustics, lighting and the integration of plants, topics such as community and brand identity are defined.

The concept has been applied as a prototype in a pilot project covering an area of almost 3,000 square meters. This test environment makes it possible to validate the effectiveness of the solutions in practice and ensure that they meet the requirements of modern working environments.
