Due to the great popularity of the Nido accommodation in King's Cross, the student housing concept was extended to the trendy Spitalfields district in east London, where a new high-rise building with space for 1,200 students was built.
This time, MACH designed a broad mix of different accommodations - from mini-apartments for singles to larger apartments for two or more students. To create a meeting place and strengthen the sense of community, MACH designed large communal kitchens.
